Default Quivers and Arrows -like mod

People's been asking for Quiver for some time now, so it wasn't new. But was I thinking about some other topic, when this bright idea come to me, why not make Quiver have stat effect too?

So that ideas is this, introduce a new off hand item call quiver. You will be able to equip it onto your off hand slot when you have the bow equiped. IT DOES NOT HAVE AMMO COUNT, and will not run out. You can still fire your bow with out it. It will give some minor stat boost to your bow attack, like:

-Quiver of Quick: Increase your attack rate by 5%
-Quiver of Piercing Arrow: Increase the damage on your bow attack by 1
-Quilver of Fire: give you +1 fire damage on attack
-Quilver of Energy: +5 Energy
-Quilver of Long Feather: Increase shooting range by 5%.

So in essense, it work like a weak, but exchangable mod for bows. Also it allow people "wear" a Quiver on their character if they wannted.

I like how the current system works for Rangers. I do not care that the bows have no strings visible and I do not care that there are no quivers either.

i would make some changes
-Quiver of Piercing Arrow: +5%-20% armor penatration
-Quilver of Fire: All your arrows deal fire damage
-Quilver of Slender Arrows: decrease flight time by X%.
and make these Quilvers an offhand for rangers.

I think Quiver's effect should not be too powerful, and should try not cross over with Bow's mod. But than, those are just examples.

Also yes, as said in OP, quivers will go in off hand. Also would have req link to ranger's attributes.

Then assassins would want an offhand since they can only use 2 handed weps...

Anyways, I think they should add quivers to all ranger armour, no mods or anything.

if they are going to make a whole new set of items, they should just make a crossbow, too, so it would be like staves vs. wands + focus items.

quivers could be like mods for bows, just /different/
"75% of damage dealt is fire damage. the rest is piercing"
"+2 minimum damage"
"increase range by 10 feet"

you might say that assassins would want an offhand, too, in which case they would get a single simple dagger as primaryhand, which would probably good. the biggest problem I think right now is that there just isn't enough variety. this isn't to be "fair" or whatever with other classes, but just to be cool and interesting. just to add a new spark to guildwars.

I think if they do add crossbow, it needs to be in its own attribute and have its own skills. But yeah, I would want Crossbows (and dare I say the forbiden word, muskets) to be added in new classes.

The quiver, the train of thoughts goes something ike this... people want quivers... the off hand spot is free... have it equipble like an item, so people can choose to have it or not, also add a new item to the market... if it is an item, might as well make it have few minor stats boost....
(well... something like that...)

Its something that would allow you to switch to in differnt situations, adding the versitility of a ranger. The stats should be kept only a min, so making it more "fair" to other. New items would also excit the market for a bit. Feel free to suggest your own Quiver ideas.

(oh, and also it would change the look of the in-flight arrow. So maybe if you have a Quiver of Darkness, your arrow would look black and leave a trail of dark cloud.)

If they had Quiver in the free slot for 2 handed, they should put for those who use Staffs, Daggers and Hammers to reduce the jealous players

Quote:
-Quilver of Fire: All your arrows deal fire damage
Conjure Flame+ another bow string (vampiric for exemple)
